Why should I hire a travel agent when I can simply book all this myself?

The short answer is time, money and expertise. We know some individuals want the "cheapest" hotel or the "bargain" flight. You may love to research and plan your own trips. You may want to do everything yourself. That is ok. If that is your desired way of travel, we are not the right agency for you and we sincerely wish you a lovely trip. Our clients want us to do everything except pack thier bags! We do all the research, plan each day of your travel, book everything for you, confirm each aspect of your trip, provide all your travel documents and provide 24/7 support during your travel.

Do I need a passport, visa or both to visit another country?

You will always need a Passport to travel outside of the United States. Passports must be valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date. Some countries, such as China and India, do require a Visa in addition to your Passport for entry. We will happily guide you in obtaining your Visa in addition to your Passport.

What is and why should I get travel insurance?

Travel insurance is insurance for the unexpected occurrences during your trip. We certainly want you to have a wonderful and seamless trip and come back with memories to last a lifetime. Unfortunately, as the old saying goes, life happens and we encourage you to obtain insurance for just those instances. Travel insurance protects you and your financial investment while you travel. We feel travel insurance is to important and needed we require all of our clients to sign a waiver if travel insurance if refused.

Do I need to learn the language of the country I am visiting?

While it does help to know some words in the language of the land you are visiting, (see my article on language) you do not need to be fluent to travel the world. Fortunately, we can always provide you with a fluent guide to bridge the language gap when necessary.

How should I pack my medication when I travel?

Always pack medications in your carry on luggage. Also, leave your medication in their original packages. Make sure the pharmacy label is on each medication and is clear and unaltered.

When will I receive my travel documents?

Documents are typically processed 30 days prior to your departure date. Prescription Travel will present all your travel documents in a timely manner with plenty of time to review them together and answer any questions.

Why do you charge a fee?

This is a great question. The reason we charge a fee is this: when we say "yes" we will work with you to create your desired experience we know this takes time. It takes a lot of time. We throroughly research, plan, book and confirm every aspect of your trip down to the last detail. In addition, we are there for you throughout the entirety of your trip, 24/7.
